Kumo One Identity

Through a single authentication system, organisations can streamline access to applications and services, strengthen security and provide a smoother user experience for employees, customers and other authorised users.

One

Identity

One Identity unifies identity management across multiple applications and services, reducing reliance on separate credentials for each platform and removing unnecessary friction from the authentication process while giving organisations greater control over access.

Added value

Strengthen access protection with additional authentication mechanisms such as Multi-Factor Authentication (2FA), adding an extra layer of security for users and critical applications.

A more efficient identity model

Integrate new applications into a common authentication framework, simplifying identity management as your organisation’s digital ecosystem grows.

Enhanced security

Apply consistent authentication policies across applications and services, reinforced by additional security mechanisms such as 2FA.

Seamless integration

Enable identity federation with Microsoft, Google and other compatible identity providers, simplifying integration with your existing technology ecosystem.

Cybersecurity

Developed entirely by Kumo

Developed entirely by Kumo’s Cybersecurity team, One Identity provides organisations with a secure and consistent approach to identity management, enabling users to authenticate once and access multiple applications and services through a single digital identity. This gives organisations greater control over access while simplifying the user experience and reducing the complexity of managing authentication across multiple platforms.

Technology

One Identity operates as an Identity Provider (IdP) and is built on Keycloak running on Red Hat OpenShift, with official Red Hat support.

The platform uses widely adopted identity and authentication standards, including:

  • SAML 2.0
  • OAuth 2.0
  • OpenID Connect (OIDC)

This standards-based architecture simplifies integration with compatible applications and services, avoiding closed identity ecosystems and giving organisations greater flexibility to evolve their technology environment over time.

One Identity also supports identity federation with external providers, including Microsoft, Google and other compatible IdPs, enabling different authentication models to be implemented according to each organisation’s requirements.

How it works

1. The user authenticates

The user accesses an application protected by One Identity and enters their credentials. Depending on the organisation’s security policies, the authentication process can also require Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for an additional layer of protection.

2. One Identity validates access

Once the user has been authenticated, One Identity generates a secure authentication token that can be recognised by applications and services integrated within the organisation’s digital ecosystem.

3. Seamless access across applications

While the session remains active and access policies allow it, users can move between integrated applications and services without repeatedly authenticating, creating a more seamless digital experience while maintaining centralised security and access control.
